Welcome to Caleva!

It took me two years to write Royal Caleva: Gabriel because I wanted to create a fictional country you would love to visit and a whole cast of characters whose lives would pull you in. I wished to wrap you in a world that would take you away from all the craziness of this one, while still being firmly set in today’s modern times.

It seems to have worked because my readers often tell me that they want to book a vacation in Caleva…or maybe even go live there permanently!

So where is this beautiful, alluring country? Caleva is about 800 miles off the coast of Spain in the Atlantic Ocean. My stories focus on the royal family because they are strong, powerful, sexy, and flawed. The country itself is filled with fragrant vaho hibiscus, medicinal red lilies, and giant green lizards called Calevan dragons. There are gorgeous white sand beaches, turquoise blue waters, dormant volcanos, and dramatic cliffs.

The first book, Royal Caleva: Gabriel features Quinn, a feisty American computer hacker, and Gabriel, a guitar-playing royal duke. However, you also meet King Luis IV, Prince Raul, Quinn’s enigmatic boss Mikel, and more.

There’s a free novella that you can download if you subscribe to my newsletter: How to Plan a Royal Wedding. It follows Royal Caleva: Gabriel because let’s face it: a romance often leads to a wedding. Quinn, however, is not happy about all the pomp and circumstance surrounding her marriage to the royal duke, Gabriel. The novella has some spoilers for Gabriel’s book, so save it for after you finish Book 1.

Royal Caleva: Luis brings passion and danger to the solitary king of Caleva. He’s a silver fox and one of the world’s most eligible bachelors, but he has sworn off love. Until he meets another feisty American. I love my mismatched couples!
